  What surprised me about Fate/Stay Night was the explosion of figures from the series in such a short time.  The franchise first appeared in 2004 as a PC eroge game, but now it's got enough figurines on the market to rival even much older anime/manga/game series.   These primarily use the heroines Saber, Rin Tohsaka, and Sakura Matou as models. There are also figures available, though in less variety, of other characters like Rider, Ilya and Archer to name a few.
