Servant Saber's loyalty to her "Master" Shirou Emiya knows no bounds. She is willing to put her life on the line to protect and serve Shirou. To win the "Holy Grail War", Saber will have to defeat the likes of the deadly and accurate Archer, the murderous Berserker, the swift and silent Rider, and other skilled opponents. Will Saber and Shirou be able to survive and stay together? A new addition to the Fate/Hollow Ataraxia figure line, toy designer/manfucturer, Alter, has created a very unique and surreal rendition of Saber. Donning a dark black victorian-like dress, this version of Saber is unlike any other. Her pale face and deep hollow eyes is completely opposite of the usually bold and dynamic Saber. Equipped with an dark alter version of her trusty sword, "Excalibur", Saber is ready to strike with no mercy or remorse. I like these alternate designs because they go on a totally different tangent with the character you're familiar with. Magic Girl Rin Tohsaka was neat but I bit too cheerful for my tastes. Fortunately, Dark Saber comes in to restore balance to the world of Hollow Ataraxia. When I first heard about this model, I thought it would be based on the battle armor Dark Saber seen below on the left. To my surprise, they used the goth version instead - which seems more fragile than evil. This figurine comes with a detachable dark version of Saber's Excaliber.
